How technology impacts my life

Everyday I rely on a simple piece of technology to wake me up in time for my first class of the day, my alarm clock. With this technologic item I can listen to music on the radio, my iPod, or even my phone. For most of my classes a teacher uses the onsite computer to demonstrate power-points or to display a new program that we will be working on. For one of my classes we even sit in front of computers for an hour and a half where the computer is available to bring up our own powerpoint or instantaneously look up definitions of terms. While walking back from classes I usually use my cellphone to talk to my family since we currently live out of state and use cellphones as our primary form of communication. After classes while working on homework or blogging I use another piece of technology; my laptop which I’m presently using to write this intriguing blog. My computer also allows me to use search engines to look information up or use social media to stay up to date with the latest drama of the world. I can also use Skype or FaceTime to have visual contact with a person who I am talking to. However typically I cannot work in silence while doing my homework so I turn the TV on which is yet another piece of technology that allows me to watch comedy shows or movies or whatever I am in the mood to watch. My computer allows me to work on things simultaneously while still running as fast as it does if only one program is open.  Other pieces of technology that I come across on a daily basis are my refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, Keurig. Without all of these different pieces of technology I don’t know how my life would be because I am so used to having things at my disposal. The use of technology has allowed me to not have to wait for the things I want since it is all at my fingertips, I honestly can't imagine living my life without technology since almost everything I own has some sort of technology involved in it.
